Conductor: Marion Jamison
Harmony began as a community choir in the small town of Paraburdoo in 1991. From 6 members it grew fairly quickly and has been very active over the years. We have performed many concerts and won a variety of divisions in the Port Hedland and Wanneroo Eisteddfods. As people relocated to Perth, the choir was re-established in Perth city in early 1997. Membership is currently 35, a mix of men and women, ages range from 22 - 70. Repertoire includes music in unison, SAB, SATB, with occasional SSAA pieces for ladies. We perform Sacred, Musical Theatre, Classics, Folk and contemporary
Rehearses Thursdays 7.30pm - 9.30pm
Joining Requirements: Anyone wishing to join our choir is required to hold a part and sing in tune. Sight singing ability is an advantage, but not necessary - you will learn sight singing as part of the group's activities. All prospective members will be auditioned after 3 weeks.
