Formed in 1997, it was a humble beginning with only 4 members. The choir now has 35 singers.A mixed choir, the Choristers come from the Upper Great Southern of Western Australia. Some singers travel over 150 Km to rehearsal every week, Based in Narrogin, the choir meets in the little town of Wickepin. The repertoire is varied, however,the Nightingales are best known for their Spirituals and Blues.
Rehearses Thursday 7.30 pm
Joining Requirements: The love of singing.The choir is non-auditioned, however we require commitment, and the ability to read music is a welcome advantage.
We go into recess in January till mid February.
