Western Australian Youth Chorale
Conductor: Dr Robert Braham and Prue Ashurst
The Western Australian Youth Chorale (WAYC) is a specialised SATB chorale for young people aged 16 – 25, and performs choral music at the highest level. Designed to help bridge the gap between school and community choirs, the chorale is directed by two of Perth’s leading choral specialists in Dr Robert Braham and Prue Ashurst.
The chorale performs independently and in conjunction with other WAYMA ensembles and is designed to offer chorale training at the highest level. Future plans include international touring.
Rehearses Tuesdays 7-10pm
Joining Requirements: Previous choral experience is desirable but not essential and entry is by audition only.
