A pageant of music, dance and drumming will take you from Gilbert and Sullivan through the rich tradition of the sea shanty and beyond, to pirates, privateers and the voyages of Sinbad the Sailor, who journeyed through the Middle East and Africa. The Summer School Choir under the cat o' nine tails of Dr Margaret Pride, MC and Storyteller Glenn Swift, the Oasis Sword Dancers and Belly Dancers, and the exciting samba rhythms of Beleza's Bateria Drummers will combine for spectacular evening of fun and entertainment. There will be a long interval, so bring along a picnic to enjoy in the beautiful grounds of The University of Western Australia.
